Tough question. I suggest you read the article "Napster: Great Experiment or Ethical
Dilemma?" @

Thanks seekers and finders,

- I checked out 'When Sunny Gets Blue' from Barbara Streisand. She sang it totally
different from Natalie. I'll check some more artists in the weekend.

- I have no experience with napster. Is that not illegal?

- Checked out http://www.delafont.com/music_acts/Natalie-Cole.htm
That's just a booking agency. No lyrics there.
I wasn't looking for lyrics, but they're welcome just the same.

- Maybe the video is an option, but I'd rather buy the DVD.
Which isn't out yet, of course.

Thanks,

Martin de Vos,
Nederland

This is a link to the lyrics on the sound track. Does the song appear here?

Sometimes it depends on what Napster server you're on. If you have no files
in progress, exit out of Napster, and re-connect. That'll change the current
server to another one 90% of the time. It may take two re-connects to find a
different server. It's there, I just rechecked.

In my searching, I did find that that song was an original of Natalie's
father. She may not have it recorded as her own, but her father sure does.
Also, an artist with the last name of O'Day has it recorded.

Just tried that and did not find "When Sunny Gets Blue." I guess it
depends when you check Napster and which one of their servers you get
connected to.

If you type in the search phrase " Freak City " into both blanks of Napster,
you find all (?) the tunes from that movie. :o)

According to the Internet Movie Database, the song Natalie sung was
"When Sunny Gets Blue." I checked Napster-found this song by other artists
including her father, but not by Natalie. Can continue to check Napster-it
might show up there sometime.

In researching this, I was unable to find a definitive answer for you.

The TV Movie, "Freak City" was made in 1999. In late 1999, Natalie
released the CD "Snowfall In The Sahara". If the song she sang in
Freak City was recorded at all, then my best guess is that it was
recorded on "Snowfall." CDNow has cuts you can play of most if not
all the songs on Snowfall, so you might listen to some of those.

Let me offer an alternate solution to you. I just visited
Blockbuster.com, and the TV Movie "Freak City" is on video. So you
might like to purchase the video and you can listen to the song that
way.
