Hi,

Just in case the URL command does not go to default text, use:

URLTEXT for the page text
URLSRC for the HTML formated page (and small binaries)

As Ben pointed out to you, Dick, you very well can browse the WWW using
nothing more than your Juno e-mail. You will need to learn certain
techniques, but once you master the basics, a much greater percentage
of the Internet opens to you. Juno limitations place a few more
obstacles in accessing the Internet, but there is a degree of help for
you in this regard, from the Juno_accmail list.

(1) First, send for Gerald Boyd's ACCMAIL FAQ, "Accessing the Internet
by E-mail." Address a message to:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]

...and in the SUBJECT line, type:

send accmail.faq

...you can leave the BODY of your message, blank.

(2) Consider joining two more mailing lists to give you a forum for
support in your learning stages:

(a) The Juno_accmail List, owned by SeeknFind member Brian Johnson. To
subscribe to Juno_accmail, send a blank message addressed to:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]

...then reply to any confirmation message you may receive.

(b) The ACCMAIL list, owned and moderated by Gerald Boyd:

TO: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
SUBJECT: {Leave Blank}
BODY: SUBSCRIBE ACCMAIL yourfirstname yourlastname

We cannot spend a lot of time on our SeeknFind mailing list to teach
you these techniques, as it is not topical to our list. However, to
demonstrate the capability you have, send the following message from
your Juno e-mail interface:

TO: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
SUBJECT: {Leave Blank}
BODY:
URL http://www.lib.umich.edu/libhome/Documents.center/con\
gress/conemail.txt

Just paste those last two lines exactly as I show, on the first two
lines of your message. See what you get. :-)

Ah, but you can browse the web using the text only Juno.
However... Alan, Phil or Brian will be better equiped to help you in this matter.
Please be patient and wait for their assistance. :)

HI Alan, I appreciate your suggestion, but unfortunately with JUNO I
cannot browse the web as I only have the email only version!!!

Thanks again,

This time around I would like you to try yourself. Use the resources
Ben (BC) gave you and the following Yahoo page and try to trace down
the addresses of the South Dakota legislators yourself. Then if you
hit a stumbling block, come back to us. :-)

Note: The above URL is actually one continuous line and should be
entered into your browser's address box as one line.

Good luck. :-)

Apologeezies everyone. I resent this message thinking it had not been
distributed last night. I had a sluggish Internet last night. I see
this morning that it did get distributed afterall and you lucky people
get to read it twice.

You'll note I gave the official Congressional web pages of two of the
Representatives of the State of Nebraska, in lieu of an e-mail address.
This is because a great many of our legislators have a morbid fear of
their Internet constituents, and do not readily make public their e-
mail address. Instead, they hide behind a web server script that
allows you to send them e-mail to their secret e-mail address. And
then again, some representatives discourage e-mail, altogether. You
can begin on this page to find their e-mail web form page. Have zip
code in hand:

http://www.house.gov/writerep/

Note: Representative Bereuter apparently does not want you to send him
e-mail at all.
