Hello Georgios, You do not need to convert the waveform files, since SEISAN can plot the MSEED data. In new version of SEISAN you can also use MULPLT to plot the 24hour MSEED file directly, if data is in a BUD or a SeiscomP archive, see: http://seis.geus.net/software/seisan/node10.html
