Hi Rosa,
I found a bug and fixed it. Please download the new picsub.for file from

to your LIB folder, and recompile MULPLT : type 'make all' in LIB and 'make
mulplt' in PRO

Hi,
I recomment that you convert your data to miniseed (mseed) format. Reftek has a
program
rt_mseed
That does that (reftek also has a program rt_seis that convert into seisan
format, but for the new version of seisan I recommend miniseed).
I sometimes get reftek data on a flash card, so on my
Hello SEISAN, just a bit of info:
You can now download the chapters of this very nice book, containing lots of
SEISAN examples:

Open Access, seems to be the new hit, check this nice new book, too:

Hello Georgios,
You do not need to convert the waveform files, since SEISAN can plot the MSEED
data.
In new version of SEISAN you can also use MULPLT to plot the 24hour MSEED file
directly, if data is in a BUD or a SeiscomP archive, see:
http://seis.geus.net/software/seisan/node10.html
Hi Santosh,
We also use nmx digitizer with HHZ, HHN and HHE channels, and you can see one
of our Seisan response files below.
In RESP you have to enter HH_Z (where _ is a space).
But I recommend that you create a SEED response file for your station. To do
that you could use the PDCC program
Hi Christian,
You have to use the index.out file that SELECT also generate, and not the
select.out file:

Dear Joao,
For a large amount of continuous data, I would recommend to store the data in
databases, with one channel/station in each database. You can then use MULPLT

Hi Daniel,
You can recompile Seisan with an higher number of samples in memory, See
INC/seidim.inc
Or you can use MSCUT to cut the miniseed files into one hour files and use
these.
Or you can extract the events manually, see Fig 6.2:

Hi Edwar,

Hi Emanuel,
VELEST is more than 1 lines of code and not a SEISAN core program, so it is
not going to be fixed in the near future.
I would collect all the s-files with COLLECT, and use perl to change the

TTPLOT will only do one event.

Hi Shawn,
Please let us know which digitizer you are using.
The sensor part of your Episensor (assuming +/-20 Volt differential) RESP file
looks ok, but the sensitivity of the digitizer (and your amplifier if you use
one) will control the measured ground displacement.

Good evening Tim,
If you have your 24hour miniseed data in a BUD or SDS archive you can use
wavetool -arc -start "time" -duration "time" -wav_out_file SEISAN
To extract the time windows of you events. Note that the archive and the data
channels must be defined in your SEISAN.DEF

Hello Wayne,
The GMAP settings in SEISAN.DEF are not used by SeisanExplorer.
To change the icons in SeisanExplorer you need to change the c++ code and
