Happy new year! I don't know much about this, but I did a web search and
the max_input_vars php.ini setting looks relevant:
http://www.php.net/manual/en/info.configuration.php#ini.max-input-vars
Please let me know if changing that works for you.

That did the trick, thanks Yaron. a 3000 setting didn't help, but 1 did.
I need to read more learn how to determine the right setting, but it's a
great work-around for now.
