Our sepsis screen demands that the nurse check with the ER Physician first before initiating Sepsis screening. The nurse presents a short, bullet format report to the MD and he okay's the sepsis protocol. This serves two purposes, hopefully weeds out the 'flu presentation' patients and lets MD
