Manuel Carrasco Moñino closed HUPA-91.
--------------------------------------

    Resolution: Duplicate
Assignee: Manuel Carrasco Moñino (was: Norman Maurer)

#1 is only possible with imap servers supporting some kind of sso via web.
Gmail supports oauth2. This feature was already in the scope of the gsoc 2012
project (Hupa Evolution) so I mark this issue as duplicated of HUPA-85.

#2 is not an issue since Hupa (like any other web app) is agnostic to the http
channel, in fact it is a matter of the web server, and normally deployers know
how to enable https in theirs frontends.

> HUPA can be used as an IMAP client for services that export mails over IMAP
> (like GMail). Users should be able to configure HUPA to delegate to those
> authentication schemes (open the gmail login page).
> At a minimum HUPA should be configured by default to use SSL for connections.
