Sameer,
I have tried to install the XS on a Dell Laptop (not netbook). It runs
great, but the wireless indicator is not on.
Could there be missing drivers?
If so, what can I do?

I haven;t tried it, but if you can make a bootable USB from the iso
you should be able to install from there. I use unetbootin
