In fact, it should be available to every course creator, but you've hinted at some symptoms of a config bug that could be affecting other "course creators". Can the first CC see this option? [Server-devel] Uploading files - shared folder
Martin, Can you let me know if it is possible to make a link on the front page of XS-Moodle to a shared folder where authorised (i.e. assigned) XOs can upload and download, and rename files? I have been unable to do this using "Add a resource/activity" with either "Display a Directory" or "Assignments". I can only manage to make it so that the person who created the resource is able to view uploaded files. I just want the simplest of arrangements, a way teachers can get used to sharing projects via a shared folder on the server, without the need for flash drives.
