As soon as there is an ActiveMQ release which contains the bugfix, we
can start the process for a 3.1.2 release. I think Bruce and Thomas
have already backported some important fixes to be released with 3.1.2
as well...

How does an empty profile prevent the invocation of Checkstyle and
PMD? Sounds like Maven voodoo.

Yeah I've seen that profile, but I just figured that it hadn't been
fleshed out yet . Why is that profile empty?
