does anyone know where I can get that synthetic felt-like pad that attaches under your hood above your engine? I don't want a fancy or tuner type pad with shiny foil, etc. just want the stock look. thanks in advance rob marquardt

SD is an 85 to 86 T1 the same engine?

I have a 1985 shelby charger with 168,000 miles and the original motor. I found a low mileage 1986 t1 motor from a lebaron gts cheap! I noticed that most people classify the ecm's different. Are there differences in the 2 engines or is it an easy swap? Also, Is it easier to take the engine and

Ted, The 85 tranny needs an 85 motor to bolt to it. You may have to use the 86 engine and tranny. I believe you can use the same computer if you change the distributor. The 85 engine has a 6 bolt crank and in 86, it changed to an 8 bolt. - Bob Doherty Coon Rapids, MN. 90 Daytona Shelby
