I'm using my '87 pulleys with an '89 common block.
The only problem is the water pump sits almost against the oil pan (actually
had to take a hammer to the lip). To remove the pan, I will have to pull
the water pump right off.

I was just sitting back doing some channel surfing and just came across a
really bizarre show on Spike TV where people were racing minivans backwards in
a demo derby type track. The guy that won was running what looked to be an
1989 or 1990 Dodge Caravan and another competitor had a later 1991-95

1978 Dodge 024 (Charger body style)
using the 1.7L VW places it in GT4
Using the 2.2L Dodge puts it into GT3
Currently set up as GT4 car. No engine. Shine Racing prepped VW trans. 4whl
disks (to fit inside 13 wheels). Coil overs.
Car is semi-tube chassis. 2 box for main chassis.
