Trying to swap my bad turbo in the 88 Shelby Z. I have heard of this being
done without pulling the head, or dropping the engine. Unhook the mount and
rotate it...Anyone have more info on this? I have been fighting it. IT
sucks.

Well I just finished putting an A413 in my 87 SC (T2 Intercooled, approx
250-275HP). I did some test runs and the trans did not want to shift into
first I had to manually put it in there sometimes, but then it was fine. I was
beating on it good, and then stopped to back up, but it woudl not
The governor and/or valve body is plugged up with clutch material. Drop
the pan, pull the governor and the valve body and clean them, change the
fluid, and the filter.
It would be nice if there was a way to make the pan deeper and baffle it
to keep the clutch material away from the governor and
to those interested awhile back i was trying to get these hoods into
production. well thanks to mike platt i fitted the mock up to his car and have

I cleaned out the trunk of my 87 shadow and found 2 hoses in sealed mopar
plastic bags. they also came with a pretty greasy dealership note that is
missing, as luck would have it, the part descriptions, but the date is 1998 so
they
aren't too old...
the part numbers and name on the bags are:
My block is bored out .30 over from a 2.2. Anyone know the new displacement
of the motor.
Also, dropping the motor in soon. Tranny is already in. Should the starter
go in before or after the block. The head will go on after the block is
in.
