Time to move on and wanted to give people on here first crack at it. After a daughter and a divorce I have ran out of time and money to road race. It doesn't look like it is changing for a few years. 86 or 87 Shelby Charger. I have a stack of receits that I refuse to add up. Basically I went through almost the entire car. Reinforced and rewelded the K frame, Rebuilt rack, steering pump, new hubs, bearings, brakes, poly front bushings, LRE custom front springs. I believe 420lb spring rate KYB struts Rebuilt 520 Paola built TII short block with forged crank. (one race and one track day on it) Oil cooler 3in mandral bent exhaust. Autopower cage Grant steering wheel Momo seat ( will keep the seat if you are a little wider in the hips) RJS window net Will need new seatbelts as the date stamp is expired. Rear has new bearings and brakes as well. Quickor rear bar, Mopar autox springs and KYBs. Have a complete TII intercooler setup and a ton of parts that will go with it. I have tons of pics so just email me and I will send them out. Not sure what to ask for price. I have decided to sell my Charger GLHS. It is #0592. It has a little over 50k original miles. This car is an excellent unrestored example. It is hard for me to enjoy a rare car in such original condition. I have kinda lost interest in turbo Mopars, I don't drive it anymore, and don't feel like doing the required upkeep. I have a few extras to go with it. They include a nice set of '87 GLHS Centurions, an NOS airdam, a Zoom clutch, and a complete engine regasket kit. For sale. Rebuilt 2.2 T2. 30bore malhe pistons. 4,000miles total. Sweet coldair intake, with Blow off Valve. Engine is spotless. has new power sterring pump, brand new life time alternator. Needs 1 fuel injector. 800.00 +SH it will come complete with anything you need from the car. just name it and its yours. Can get pictures if serious. A-555 brand new, not a rebuilt. I purchased this from someone who had bought it new, he had plans to put in his car. If I remember right, he had a heart attack, and just lost interest. He sold it to me when my Tranny went out on the side of the road 350mile from home. it has a new racing clutch, I can not remember the brand. but its new as well. It DOES have an Ed Peterson Posi installed. This A-555 has maybe 500miles on it. period. You can still see the little paint dots on the bolts. You will never find one like this again. 700$ +SH (i paid more) Will include what ever else you need from the car. I have 2 new axles with prolly 50miles on them. I would like to get 50$ for the pair plus SH. I have a Magnaflow Muffler, it was like 125$ Its not a fart cannon... it goes in at 2.5 and exits out Two 4 ports. I would like 40+ SH for that. I have a 2.5 mandrel bent exhaust system from FWD performance, its been used on a different Daytona then mine, but it only have 2000-4000miles on it. 50$ plus SH Super 60 Turbo set up. Includes newer Head with minor port, 3angle valve grind Back cut valves, MP springs 1 peice intake. stock throttle body. four MP 40% injectors 63AR Turbo Unit. Will toss in a 2nd head that never been used at all, one of the cam journal towers broke off, but it has all new everything in it. spare parts? I have never used this kit, I purchased it from a SD member for 1500$ but just never got it all installed. So its in the garage covered looking for a new home. I hear the cast cranks are overbuilt so they should be OK for anything other than the hardest use. At what point in the performance spectrum should one consider a forged crank? Also I have access to a 1987 GLHS head and a later head that was on a common block which had a roller cam. I hear that you can put a roller cam in a slider engine but nor the other way around. Is this true? Something to do with too much oiling or nor enuff I don't recall.
