I have the same CoG finder and used it to provide info to the
also discontinued Apollo Balistik trimming software. (Some
swingweight programs use this info. as well)
A better way to mark the heads is to put a small piece (1" strip)
of masking tape on the face and then you just need a gentle p
I have one of Maltby's CoG finders. instead of using a punch to mark the
face, the holder has a hole that you can stick a Sharpie up into. I've used
it mostly for curiosity. Compared a few old, old clubheads with modern day
clubheads. The old ones had a CoG that was high and closer to the hosel
