Thanks, it is a pity I have to interact with the clunky Photos
interface, but I have too many photos there already.

The work-around here is to create the album on photos.google.com first,
then it's available in Shot

Ah, so they finally turned that off. This was supposed to be shut down a
long time ago server-side. I have to remove it from Shotwell.
Uploading to an existing album should work, though.

Well, I am sorry to be bringing this up again, but after I was able to
upload photos to Picasa at the beginning of February, it seems that
there is a problem again. Now Shotwell gets "HTTP status code 501 Not
Implemented". Is anyone currently able to upload photos? Thanks,
