Hi,

that's a known issue and has been fixed in more recent version (0.24 I think)

Hi,

I am using openSUSE Leap 42.3, and thus I'm stuck at shotwell version
0.22. And after upgrading from Leap 42.2 to 42.3, something very
strange happens: Some events display the photos with a black
background, and other (the older) display with black background. Going
to preferences, and changing the background doesn't change it: what
changes is the color of the text labels, going to white or black for
contrast with what should be the background colour.

I have done some experimenting under another user, and thus found out
that using dconf-editor to reset the ui settings seemed to help.

On return to my default user, I found out that the background stays
white despite trying to change it, but the labels do change to white
or black to increase the contrast.

But, if I zoom in, using the control-plus keys, the background goes
black at the tops zoom levels (so hiding the black text labels), but
only for that event. Zooming out does not undo the black background, I
have to switch to another event and back.

Does any of this sound familiar?

       Carlos E. R.
