Which jdk are you running? I had trouble using the Mirabilis client with
Sun's RC2 1.2.2 JDK, it ran fine with IBM's 1.1.8 JDK though. I use
GnomeICU no
Get another version (i.e. clone) of icq. if you get it to work, you can consider
yourself lucky if it does not crash w/i 30 seconds.

machines behind a 2.0.36 masq firewall.
Chat doesn't work on one of them, but I don't know if gtkicq chat will

Well, I just installed Licq, and found out that when a chat req
ICQ seems to be quite a bit more stable(that's still not saying much) on
the older JDK's(1.1.3 and .4).

put your email address so you will be notified when the Unix version is
relaeased.
