OK, So I need to revise my problem, and apologies for posting in a thread. So the problem is this. Kmail version of maildir is not directly compatible with courier. The problem origionally was my not understanding that a proper mail dir must contain the 'cur', 'new', and 'tmp' directories. Kmail does this.
The problem comes with how subdirectories are presented. To work with IMAP a subdirectory should be named starting with a period. Kmail uses a pretty confusing mix of hiddn and normal directories so that a directory can hold both subfolders and messages, even if mbox is being used. Just wanted to throw out the above for future edification, sorry if it is obvious stuff. So I think I am going to write a script to create a seperate maildir with symlinks to the real folders. Does this sound like the right way to solve the problem? Spencer _______________________________________________ Siglinux mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.utacm.org/mailman/listinfo/siglinux
