input doesn't have the ability to check the input type. You will have to
process it yourself.

I tried it on this way(faq #2208).
When Sikuli IDE first starts, and then type "import xlrd/import xlwt" and run.
It reports error lisk this.

Yea, I was thinking about that some years ago when I first discovered
Sikuli. The reason that I had to train Sikuli for different systems and
sometimes the time necessary to write new script was 5x times higher
that just clicking the stuff for a month. So my automation with "manual
learning"

which is faster since it does not search the whole screen.

Pattern_Before_Remove = Result.nearby()
WaitResult = waitVanish(Pattern_Before_Remove,120)
In your workflow Pattern_Before_Remove is a Region object.
waitVanish() needs either an image filename or a Pattern object as parameter,
to look for it to vanish.

I principally understand what you are saying and your suggested approach.
But I have to admit, that this is far beyond what I can invest (both knowledge
and time) into the further development of SikuliX.
