They are not the same and the stuff you buy at the drug store which contains chemicals to stabilize the mix that are harmful when taken internally (but they say is OK for a mouth wash !!) A good reference for its use (Food grade H2O2) is Healing With Whole foods by Paul Pitchford IBN:
