Speaking of sunlight, a recent newspaper article about water indicates
that putting a PET bottle in the sun constitutes UV purification. It
can take up to 48 hours but is the cheapest and simplest method
possible.

Thanks for the information on CS. I am happy to know that sunlight, air or most
anything doesn't damage it. You have been most helpful. Appreciate all the help.

For what it's worth, I have a jar of CS in my car that has been in there
since March. It has to be at least 130 degrees in there during the day,
and probably has had at least some sun. It looks like it did the day I
put it in.

For the shake of accuracy we should clarify that there is a difference

In nature, pure metals react with, i.e. acids to form minerals such as i.e.

I produced my first batch of CS, the color was a fairly intense yellow. Using
the same settings, water, etc my second batch only had a tinge of yellow. Both
show to be about 14ppm. Should there be any difference other than color?

Agree, and she also said her CS was light grey in color. No wonder.

There is a reason why CS must be made with distilled: the lack of minerals in
the water, which the distillation process removes. The minerals in filtered or

The color of my CS was light gray. I made it in about 2 minutes with bottled
drinking (not distilled) water and used the .999 pure silver sticks. No
salt, baking soda, or anything else. I definitely had makeup on over it, as I
wouldn't be caught dead out of the house without it.

Hmm,
If that was it, I should be seeing the greying, I take a ton of MSM,

don't come out AS sulfur in skin oils? I think I'd still be betting on
some kind of contamination, or the CS being very large particles or

What damages CS? I have been told that air and sunlight will damage CS. Is
there anything else? What about heat? Like boiling it for coffee, etc. And also
how does it damage it, like killing off the silver
Thanks

Some people have a great deal of sulphur in their skin oils.
Sulphur tarnishes silver. ??
