There are a variety of body work techniques that have been reported to be
very helpful. Trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) works
very well for some folks. There are some supplements that seem to help with
some of the physiological symptoms. EMDR works well for some folks.

While EMDR is often effective it takes a long time. Emotional Freedom
Technique (EFT) is much faster and generally very effective for all
types of trauma.

You may wish to check out EMDR therapy Eye Movement Desensitization and
Reprocessing therapy. My wife and I both developed Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder (PTSD) some time after our son was suddenly killed 9 years ago.
We each went to a therapist for grief counseling and therapy. Eventually
