My yahoo account was compromised and the 16 unfortunate people in my online
contact list received a spam email from me. I have changed my password. Please
accept my apology. Lets hope I have fixed it now.

they do have access to that. Once the yahoo password is changed the emails
stop too.

In many cases the email accounts aren't hacked at all, they are spoofed
so changing passwords won't make a difference. I know the ones on the
Yahoo groups are spoofed. Don't know about here.
