There is also the belief that surgery for cancer will cause the cancer to grow,
because the primary tumor has something in it that suppresses the growth of
secondary tumors. When the primary tumor is removed, this "check" is removed,
allowing the secondary ones to grow rapidly.

You might do some research into the connection between lyme and fibro. Many
people diagnosed with fibro have later been diagnosed with lyme. Doctors often
give the trashcan diagnosis of fibro when they don't know what is causing the
problems.
