Does anyone have any experience with Baker's Cyst? My 75 year old neighbor has been sufferin with it for a few weeks; her doctor has not be able to remedy the condition. It is affecting her right leg behind the knee and is extremely painful. Can anyone suggest something?

A Baker's Cyst is usually present if the knee is arthritic and or inflamed. If the knee is relatively warm to touch, cold packs in front and behind the knee are probably the most effective thing. Put a thin towel against your skin, or just wear pants. Place the bag of ice, frozen peas or corn,
