I started using CS with Gatorade and doubled the dose of CS for my dog (started it yesterday). He now takes 2 Tablespoons mixed with Gatorade 4X a day and I am seeing results in his energy and the way he feels. Hopefully his skin will start taming down. When I get my generator, I will certainly start giving him 50-50% water/CS. But I think the doubled CS and the addition of Gatorade is having a good effect and will probably even UP the dosage more when the generator arrives. Since this condition is pretty much off/on *chronic*-maybe higher dosages are the ticket for this dog. And since many geriatric pets (he is almost 13) probably suffer from low grade chronic infections anyway (not to mention humans also), I am glad I have him on it.
