Hi Smitty. Yes -- doctors in the midwest are very cavalier about Histoplasmosis. It's commonplace in the lungs of most of us midwesterners, and doesn't seem to cause a problem for most people. I suspect that's why the pulmonologist (in Nashville) didn't take it too seriously. MA
