Hi Melody,, First may the worst be past. Next first is yes swab, rinse, drench externally with the full strength 400ppm or even diluted by 100 water to 1 silver citrate. The worst would be a faint blue line maybe. If you don't want to do that then use the peroxide but dilute until it still
