I have had much better luck using higher ppm for infections, say 35 ppm and as far above as I can get it. This works for surface open wounds, but it sounds like what you have is deeper, so the CS you put on the surface can help there, but can't get deeper. I now routinely mix CS with DMSO to

Hi Mary, Did they put in dissolvable stitches? Any dissolvable stitches made my incisions stay raw, open and weepy. I had to go in and pull the stitches out, myself. Once I did that they healed up just fine. This was before my knowledge of CS, so no, I did not try any. G Murray Helen
