The idea of DMSO causing liver damage is hilarious since DMSO
is used to preserve living livers in organ transport. It is
not detrimental
to the liver. The primary reason DMSO was developed in the 70's
by Dr Stanley Jacob at the U of Oregon was for organ transport.
It protects and normalizes
Just about anything taken to an excess is detrimental to the liver.
Why would you drink a glass of red wine?
Not the same reason you'd drink a gallon.
You'd prolly not want to drink a cup of DMSO, a teaspoon?, maybe.
2 Aspirins, fine. 20? Liver problems.

Anyone have any idea what that bug was last winter- the one that for
once did not respond to the cs? It was the first one ever for me. If
the cs ramps up the immune system, and the bug was worse for strong
immune systems, then other remedies might be in order.
