Note also that persons undertaking such alternative/complementary
therapeutic efforts are very likely to benefit from one of the various
forms of applied/neurological kinesiology, which is often wrongly
called muscle testing. In fact the method is based on the
opening/closing of some kind of neurological circuit and a brain
reaction resulting from this; the muscle changes are the means of
demonstrating this change. One can learn a great deal from various
online sites.

At present self-testing is worse than awkward, but a first-rate

Many silver 'compounds' are light sensitive and when you mix CS with other things, some of those compounds can be made.

Heat over around 120 deg F can cause agglomeration before the CS has stabilized and as it's being made...never seen it happen afterwards.
Reducing water volume can do that.
Freezing CS appears to concentrate something grey towards the center of the ice block. [Various particulates] Low temperatures will tend to precipitate things out of solution as that lowers the saturation point of the water. The center of an ice cube freezes last.

mine also turns colors at times but i was assured by ken at silver puppy that cs is never affected by light or heat in any way, ever.

snip > (There's no real logic behind this at all.) Its not real
pretty to look at (the gel I mean) because I made it with extra strong
CS that's very light sensitive so it's gone a bit of a grey color. Then
again, to make it a pretty color it would probably need even more
ingredients of dubious merit.

 Hello.

 Debbie

As with any form of self-treatment, Debbie, you should be as informed
as you can be. That's why I trouble to mention any risk that is
foreseeable. In this case, it means reminding you of the chance of
allergic reactions and the Herxheimer reaction.

For somebody who has a known sensitivity to silver, or who has *never*
take CS before, it would be wise to start off with an extremely small
dose, an insignificant amount like a few drops or a fraction of a
teaspoon, and then wait a few hours. This would minimize your risk of
suffering a severe reaction if you happened to be highly allergic to
it. A worthy precaution, just in case.

We've had one report here a long time ago that *might* have been an
allergic reaction of this sort, though the circumstances were
ambiguous. A little caution is cheap insurance.

That's one way somebody *might* go into shock. Very low probability. If
you've already tried CS without harm, then it's not at all likely.

The second issue is the Jarisch-Herxheimer effect, which was first
noted many years ago when treating syphilis patients with then-new
antibiotics.

The good doctors Jarisch and Herxheimer discovered that they were
killing some of their patients when the drugs wiped out so many
bacteria so quickly that it sent them into shock and overwhelmed their
livers with the toxic load of metabolites and cell wastes that were
dumped into their bloodstreams all at once.

Being that CS can sometimes be *very* effective at killing little
beasties, naturally you need to be aware of this as well.

The answer is to start with small-ish doses (spoonfuls certainly
qualify, if you're CS is 10ppm) and gradually ramp up the quantity and
frequency until you note an effect.

That effect will either be a worsening of symptoms in a Herxheimer
reaction, or else an improvement in symptoms as the infection begins to
recede.

A mild Herx is no worse than some flu-like symptoms: headache, muscle
aches, fatigue, nausea. Severe Herx, of course, can include shock.
Avoided by being aware and reasonable in your approach.

Many have taken CS safely without even a Herx. Many others have used
the Herx as proof that the treatment is working. For some of those, the
Herx from hell is a badge of hope!

So listen to your body. Watch the symptoms for change. Modulate the
dose up or down to keep any discomfort manageable.

With those things in mind, CS is quite safe for most of us most of the
time.

I hope that puts your mind at ease?

They just do what they do again.
Byproducts inherent to CS making is not 'dirt'

Swapping them cleans them by reverse current plating the same way that objects to be electroplated are cleaned.

Pitted electrodes have greater surface area. [That's good]

I personally never clean my electrodes, I have a CS generator that reverses current as it works.
The electrodes do get dirty but I figure the filter will catch it.
I just run each Gallon batch through 4 layers of brown (not bleached) coffee filter.
I have a plastic hose 1/4 inch with plastic valve on end.
I drip the CS through the filters slowly.
I make batches from to 50 PPM and it all is and stays clear.

Re: CSSwitching rates for CS production

2005-06-29 Thread Ode Coyote
That depends on what voltage range you use.
30 volts and under..about 60 second intervals.
 Higher voltages increase ion velocity.
The key is to get them far enough away from the electrode before the
polarity swap sucks them back in.
At 30 volts and under, they're moving pretty slow.
If no stirring is used, a standing particle field can be observed to grow
and shrink and it's location can be adjusted accordingly by varying the
time between shifts.
Too slow and both electrodes blacken.
Too fast and both electrodes gather white stuff.
Get it right and all that crud goes into the water.
A coffee filter doesn't filter it all out.
Letting the water settle for a few days and decanting does.

10,000 volts? 60 HZ will probably be it.

Material appearing on the electrodes can come from a variety of
sources. If there is chlorine
in the water (or salts), then some of it can be silver chloride. But
with pure distilled water
in general the accumulation on the anode is silver oxide, and on the
cathode is silver powder.

If polarity is switched, each is consumed, keeping the electrodes
rather clean if switched
at the correct rate.

Hi Debbie,

Please listen to Marshall's excellent advice! For UTI and daily each
morning, we take 1 inch of CS + 2 inches of Gatorade in a juice glass--taken
1 mouthful at a time, hold in mouth for 2 minutes, then swallow--repeat
mouthfuls till glass empty; then if necessary, repeat this dosage every hour
all day long until results obtained. It pains me that regular contributors
to this wonderful Site fail to take CS daily in sufficient quantities to
allow CS to give favorable results, regularly to ward off these infections.
Brooks Bradley (another of the several Experts on this Site who so
generously share with us seekers) shared about the Gatorade addition
and/or adding about 10% DMSO to the CS for increased effectiveness..

Please read my Site Blogspot where I list FREE 3 pages of CS Uses and 1

CSNew Patent for CS

U.S. World News : Business : Patent and Trademark News

Ionic Silver Complex Designed for Antimicrobial Use in
Humans Receives U.S. Patent

 Published: Wed, 29 Jun 2005, 04:23 EST

 Edited by Christopher Simmons
 Staff Writer, Send2Press.com

   FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - June 29 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) --
Invision International Health Solutions, Inc., a pioneer in the field of
ionic silver use as an antimicrobial in humans, today announced the issuance
of a U.S. Patent on its ionic silver complex technology.

The use of ionic silver in medicine and industry has been
growing rapidly in recent years due to its broad-spectrum antimicrobial
qualities, the lack of toxicity to humans and the fact that ionic silver is
not prone to causing resistant strains. Ionic silver is well known to be a
very powerful and very broad-spectrum antibacterial agent. In addition,
evidence is mounting that silver ions have powerful antiviral effects as
well. A recent university study suggested ionic silver to be effective
against the SARS virus. In Europe, ionic silver is a medically approved
treatment used to combat systemic viral conditions, including the common
cold and flu.

This patented technology represents a quantum leap beyond
predecessor silver ion technologies, including those that utilize
electrolysis for manufacturing, such as colloidal silver, says Jay Newman,
the company's President and CEO. In addition, this composition-of-matter
patent provides far more meaningful protection than the product-by-process
patents that have been issued on other silver products.

Silver ion compounds have been introduced in recent years for
antimicrobial use in food-handling materials, medical devices, surface
disinfectants, wound-care products, industrial materials, textiles, and
more. In all cases, the key is the carrier agent that is used to stabilize
the silver ions and time release them at the desired location in the given
environment.

The patented technology is designed to utilize naturally
occurring substances, such as citrate, to achieve optimal delivery and
release of silver ions in the human body, in a highly efficient and entirely
safe manner.

Silver ions, while being lethal to single-celled microorganisms,
are harmless to human cells and, in fact, are increasingly being used in
wound care due to their remarkable ability to facilitate the healing of
tissue. The patented technology provides for a completely safe product due
to the efficient delivery, introducing a minute quantity of silver to the
body - less than what may exist in a person's average drinking water intake
as a naturally occurring mineral. The difference is that this new technology
is designed to deliver the silver as active silver ions with antimicrobial
ability.

   About the Company

   Invision International Health Solutions, Inc.
(www.silver100.com), is a privately-held company specializing in the
research and development of ionic silver delivery solutions for human
application. The company currently manufactures and markets a dietary
supplement that consists of silver ions complexed with citrate and potassium
in a water medium, the composition of which is covered under the patent. No
studies have been conducted on this product to date and no health claims are
made for it. The patent covers a broad range of potential formulations. The
company intends to pursue rigorous clinical studies, and FDA dietary
supplement health claims approval as well as drug approval, for certain
embodiments of the current patented technology and future technologies.

Jay Newman is the company's founder, President CEO. Recognized
as a leading expert in the field of ionic silver, he has specialized in the
field for more than ten years. Mr. Newman has been interviewed as the
industry expert on Good Morning America, NBC TV News, Wired News, and dozens
of radio shows for stories on ionic silver. He is a co-inventor on the
patent.
