As I have embraced a higher protein, lower carb way of eating- which has
otherwise been quite beneficial to me- I have had more gout troubles. I have
had a buildup of gout in my left knee and left hip, that was mostly
alleviated by Black Cherry Juice.

However I still had a deeper level of gout under the left knee cap, that
only bothers me if I do a deep kneebend. BCJ wouldn't touch it, but Tart
Cherry Juice (Montmorency) got rid of it. TCJ is much more to my taste
liking than BCJ.

If I don't drink TCJ for about a week, it comes back. Soon as I drink TCJ,
it leaves again.

About the magnesium- you didn't say what kind you are taking; some forms are

glass is the only material that will keep Colloidal Silver for any length of
time. DO NOT accept Colloidal Silver packaged in plastic as its shelf life
is minimal and the silver particles most likely will plate out on the
surface and hence are no longer in suspension. There is an inherent electric
charge in the hydrocarbon molecule that will draw the charged silver
particle out of solution, bonding it to the side wall of the plastic
container! You may not see it but it's there alright. The preparation is
then unusable.

Do not store Colloidal Silver in a refrigerator or freezer, as the long term

I think it was Bob Berger who convinced us that keeping CS in the
plastic bottles that they sell spring water or soda pop in was just
fine. He measured concentration of batches stored in it over time and
saw no degredation.

Now, if I remember rigth, he was using a stable product made with low
current density that should have been mostly ionic and small particles.
Nor did he push for very high concentrations, which are unnecessary.

Perhaps if you're making some unstable brew with other than pure
distilled water, and letting the current run away to make dilute mud,
then you might have more reason to worry.

It is not my statement. I keep mine in HDPE too. I have never noticed any

I do agree that the sol should not be refrigerated. Slows down the Brownian
movement that keeps the particles in suspension.

Because Ag is a hydrophobic sol, it will not re-suspend after freezing, and
that destroys the micelle.

1/2 distilled water (I use DW not quite pure enough for CS making as
drinking water always). Using the yellow CS, the cat's water turns
lavender-ish or grey after they have been drinking from the bowl a
while. When their water is mixed with perfectly clear CS this doesn't
happen. My guess is that the clear CS is much more stable than even the
light yellow.

CSCS myths

2005-09-17 Thread Terry Chamberlin
http://www.freedomcrowsnest.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19831start=60

This is an example of a mixture of the many myths and
fables you will run into concerning CS. There is some
limited truth here, but you will notice that these
claims have no research nor science to substantiate
them.

Keep Colloidal Silver in the food storage, store it
in glass containers only and away from electrical
appliances.

The *electrical appliances* thing is only true for
low-voltage-brewed CS. This means don't store your CS
on top of speakers with big magnets. Otherwise, don't
seat it.

Although glass breaks easier, glass is the only
material that will keep Colloidal Silver for any
length of time. DO NOT accept Colloidal Silver
packaged in plastic as its shelf life is minimal and
the silver particles most likely will plate out on the
surface and hence are no longer in suspension. There
is an inherent electric charge in the hydrocarbon
molecule that will draw the charged silver particle
out of solution, bonding it to the side wall of the
plastic container! You may not see it but it's there
alright. The preparation is then unusable. Do not
store Colloidal Silver in a refrigerator or freezer,
as the long term electric charge of the appliance can
have the same effect on colloidal silver as does
storing it in a plastic container.

All of my experience negates nearly every statement
made above. Bob Berger, a long-time member of this
list, once tested various plastics to see which ones
bled/dissolved the most. He found that the hard,
shiny, PET or PETE type plastic like what soda pop
comes in added absolutely nothing to the CS, even when
stored for awhile. However, he said, the whitish,
translucent plastic like what milk comes in dissolved
into the CS.

There is an inherent electric charge in the
hydrocarbon molecule that will draw the charged silver
particle out of solution, bonding it to the side wall
of the plastic container!

I'd like to see the science to substantiate that
statement!

A man called me awhile ago to order some more CS. He
said he had come down with a cold the night before and
had drunk the rest of his CS that night and wanted to
get more. He said that his cold was gone the next
morning and he didn't want to be without CS. I wasn't
familiar with his name and asked him where he had
purchased that last bottle of CS. He named a HF store
that had gone out of business over four years ago! He
had abolished a cold overnight with Vintage, 4-year
old CS that had been sitting in a PET plastic bottle.

The above site will also tell you not to allow your CS
to be exposed to sunlight. I set a clear jar of my CS
in the window in the sunlight and forgot about it (a
shelf had gotten put in front of it). When I
eventually noticed it, it had been sitting there all
day every day in the sun for 15 months! (It had a
dated label.) After that period of time, it had a
very, very faint yellowish tinge to it that you had to
look at from several angles to even see.

I think it is a good idea to proceed very carefully with any and all
experimental protocols.I agree with that completely.
Almost all of us are working with protocols that essentially make us
our own experimental animals, and most of what we know about toxic
plants and animals we long ago learned the hard way -- by getting sick
or dying.

Best to be very careful indeed, particularly with essential oils, some
of which can be rather dangerous, I have read.
