My question is... how does the TODR get reset from the value read by the ROM to the ELN value with no intervening write? Did it wrap around? Seems unlikely; it shouldn't wrap around before next year. I suspect it's the "OS agnostic mode" that was added in 4.X. According to the writeup, .
