Re: [Skim-app-users] Skim + Emacs Forward Search Problem

2016-10-16 Thread Iliya Lefterov
Selcuk,

Skim is an outstanding application!! not talking about the TEAM - absolute
experts! Forward and Inverse Search, however, is not a Skim issue. You may
want to look at this Answer:

http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/161797/how-to-configure-emacs-and-auctex-to-perform-forward-and-inverse-search

most (i don't how how many...) of the tricks that work for the real Emacs
installed on a Unix/Linux machine will work and help on carbon copy Emacs
for Mac. this is my experience, at least...

best,

Hi Daniel,

do you have this section in your ~/.emacs or Preferences.el files (in one of
those)?

(setq TeX-view-program-selection '((output-pdf "PDF Viewer")))
(setq TeX-view-program-list
'(("PDF Viewer" "/Applications/Skim.app/Contents/SharedSupport/displayline -b
-g %n %o %b")))

you can also try to change the settings from within the Custom…

good luck and have a nice weekend.
