Re: [Skim-app-users] Skim 1.4.22

OK. This color option is pretty key to me, to avoid the glare and eye
strain. I will keep using the older version of Skim, which works fine on my
system, for now then.

Sorry for that, it looks like there’s a problem with the check for support for
this.

It has nothing to do with generating the file. It’s about whether Apple’s
PDFKit allows setting the page background color. If Apple does not let us, we
simply can’t.

Re: [Skim-app-users] Skim 1.4.22

2016-10-14 Thread Ivan Werning
I suppose this falls under the
* Use page background color only when supported.

but I am using LaTeX to generate the PDF. As far as I know the background
color is not set to white, but is just the default "transparent".

Is there any way to generate the file to be sure the background color
option is supported? Thanks..

Re: [Skim-app-users] Skim 1.4.22

2016-10-14 Thread Ivan Werning
Hi

The hidden option for changing the page color from white to something else
is not working for me anymore. I checked using the Terminal and I still
have it set to:

SKPageBackgroundColor = (
"0.9,",
"0.8,",
"0.7"
);

But right after the Skim upgrade I am only getting white.

NOTE: I'm on Yosemite 10.10.5.

Thanks!
