I've seen that in the latest Skype version it is not possible to save the
received files anymore.
Is there a special trick that needs to be done in order to be able to do
this?

I heard about GW Connect, but I have never used it. Does it offer some
advantages in comparison with using Skype directly?
I installed Skype 7 and it looks to be accessible, although I haven't tried
the file saving feature yet, but it is annoying because it keeps saying

Yes, it just says that annoying advertisement when I open the chat window,
although not always.
In rest, the edit field works OK and gets the focus by default and the app
works fine so it is all right.
We will get used to hear that advertisement I guess. :)

I also use Nod32 which is now called Esset Antivirus and it is the best. I
don't have any problems with it.
I also used Kaspersky and it was pretty good, but it eats more resources and
it started to have bigger accessibility problems.
I also used Norton Antivirus but it was a very poor
I use Esset Smart Security which is a solution that has Esset Antivirus
(nod32) and an antispyware component.
I don't know what's the best antispyware application available though.

the up arrow after I sent a message, and the text of that message was copied
in the edditing area, so I was able to edit it and press enter to resend it.
