I'm currently trying to build the perl-cairo package on a stock
Slackware 14.0 install.
I duly built and installed the perl-extutils-depends and
perl-extutils-pkgconfig packages as explicitly requested. Still, the
perl-cairo build gives me this:

In Perl 5.16, modules are now installed into /usr/share/perl5/ instead
of /usr/lib/perl5/ as in previous versions. As a result, in the
