Hello everyone,
I think I made a small mistake by including the kernel-4.4.168.patch in
version 340.108 of the nvidia-legacy340-kernel script since I believe
this patch is no longer needed to build the kernel modules version
340.108. Can someone please test the SlackBuild without the patch using
Hello everyone,
Since Pat V has upgraded the kernel on -stable to 4.4.190 the
nvidia-legacy340 kernel modules needs the following patch to build on
kernels 4.4.168 and above. May I also suggest to update to nVidia driver
340.107?

I couldn't clone your branch for some reason, but since it looks
the same as mine (as far as I can tell from the git repo
browser), see attached patch.

Thanks for the heads-up. I need CUDA/OpenCL support right now. Using the
.run-file will give me the nvidia-uvm device.

You just need to run OPTAPPS=yes ./nvidia-driver.SlackBuild to compile
it. After reboot, run as root nvidia-modprobe -c 0

I just realized a fix for a glitch with the new nvidia-driver and CUDA

not fatal unless you run CUDA/OpenCL programs, I'll fix this up on the
next update. This issue popped up somewhere
Hi,
In order to build version 2.83 of transmission the following lines must
be added/changed to the script otherwise you will get errors building
the Qt-client using Qt4:
tar xvf $CWD/$PRGNAM-$VERSION.tar.xz
# Qt4 fix

For those of you on Slackware -current (soon to be 14.1) who are
also LaTex users, I need some testing of TeX Live 2013.

nvidia updates are ready and I'll submit whenever SBo submissions

Hi,
krb5 fails to build with Tcl 8.6.0 under -current. Add these lines to
krb5.SlackBuild after cd $PRGNAM-$VERSION/src
and it builds nicely:
#TCL 8.6 build fix
sed -e s@python2.5/Python.h@ python2.7/Python.h@g \
-e s@-lpython2.5]@,\n
AC_CHECK_LIB(python2.7,main,[PYTHON_LIB=-lpython2.7])@g

Thanks Greg! Finally, povray is here. I just quickly modifed SB script as:

SLKCFLAGS=-fPIC -lboost_system

maintainer to get a look at LDFLAGS.
Thanks

I'm thinking of splitting off the open source nividia utilities from

nvidia-xconfig
