What I mean is something like that:

https://slackbuilds.org/result/?search=libsigrok=exact

which would return only "libsigrok" package(s).

This would allow for websites that want to refer to given SBo package

to be Slackware version agnostic and would remove the need for the
website to be updated when new Slackware arrives.

Thank you very much! :)

We're nearing our 10 year anniversary (June 5th) and I forget that
things like this exist. Thanks for pointing it out, I definitely would
have gone down a rabbit hole trying to figure out if I could implement
it in the website back-end.

[Slackbuilds-users] Search result for exact package name

2016-05-20 Thread Andrzej Telszewski

Dear admins,

Could you implement a search query that matches exact package name and
only that?

What I mean is something like that:

https://slackbuilds.org/result/?search=libsigrok=exact

which would return only "libsigrok" package(s).

This would allow for websites that want to refer to given SBo package to
be Slackware version agnostic and would remove the need for the website
to be updated when new Slackware arrives.

Now the links have to be something like that:
https://slackbuilds.org/repository/14.1/libraries/libsigrok/

and when 14.2 comes, the website maintainer has to be noticed in order
to introduce the change.

Thanks!
