The only problem here is, I haven't used Slackware anymore since 2017. I moved
my servers to a mix

Ok, I am taking over. Just need to figure out why there is no official
version 1.3 anymore. I will contact the authors at "squidguard.org".
By the way, is "squid" itself still maintained? Stable version is 4.14
and version on SBo is 4.13.

well, Niki actually dropped maintainership a while ago, so if you feel
like stepping in as a maintainer, CRTS, the script is yours.

strange, the source is mirrored on sbosrcarch (and to be hosted there
it means it was available in the download location at least until end
2015): extracting and having a look at it seems legit
http://slackware.uk/sbosrcarch/by-name/network/squidGuard/
I suppose I can mirror it on my server if
The SlackBuild for squidGuard contains a broken download link
for version 1.4.
According to the homepage the current release is version 1.3:
http://www.squidguard.org/Downloads/squidGuard-1.3.tar.gz
The homepage further contains a link to a patch for version 1.3 but
that link is broken, too.
