Hello,
I also prefer a single texlive package containing everything even though it
is bulky. Any way, the build script for this can be made available in
SlackBuilds. Only those who want Texlive can build.

Hello,
GNU Octave fails to run after installing the latest blas-3.5.0 and
lapack-3.5.0.
I think blas and lapack should should be corrected to include the following:
libblas.so.3 link to libblas.so
liblapack.so.3 link to liblapack.so
After creating these links GNU Octave works properly.

Hello,
If this is done, it would help in easily locating the packages maintained
by a person for upgrading the packages.

What is the status of TexLive? Will it be updated to 2015 or will it be

Hello,
I am trying to build
https://www.slackbuilds.org/slackbuilds/14.2/office/texlive/texlive.SlackBuild
on Slackware Current of 24-July-2016.
But I got this error after some time:

Hello Willy,
Your suggestion was correct. I had an old png library file. After removing
this it is building properly.
Sorry for that big attachment in my previous mail. I will use a third-party
site for that in future.
Thank you,

Hello,
Create /usr/lib64/la-files-backup directory.
Move all *.la files from /usr/lib64 to the directory created above.
After this, recompile. It should work.
