Hi Morten,
Packing python application is quite simple in general. As you maybe
has done, just take a look at a SlackBuild for another python
application. The command line suggested by Luis is available when the
application uses the Distutils.

This eclipse crash can be solved by setting the environment variable
MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME, and I think that has the same effect of editing the
eclipse.ini.
The Eclipse Internal Browser works well with Firefox 3, but it do not
work with the Firefox 4 library.

This patch fixes the desktop file, includes a MimeType file and
includes support to build the QmlDesigner.
Desktop file issues:
1 - Icon name was wrong;
2 - A generic name was included to fit KDE menu style;
3 - Another categories were included to provide a better results in
the KDE menu sear
The attached patch fixes the dropbox missing icon.
It is a workaround that uses dbus-launch to start dropbox.

However, a newer Texstudio version has built successfully with Qt5.
