Hi I have just emmigrated to Australia from England and I've just suscribed to the Slug mailing list, so I figured it would only be polite to introduce myself.
I have been working as a linux sysadmin for about 7 years professionally, initially getting into it as a consultant for an ISP, then I got a job where I was allowed to use it and introduce linux servers where I saw fit, so by the end we had 15 or so of them which I used to manage, and I've managed in my time to convert a number of people to linux, even a hardcore NT sysadmin - since I left he's been proposing linux solutions as well. I've been running Debian Woody at home (and at work) for about 2 years now, previously I was running RH. I hope to contribute to the list and answer some of the sysadmining type questions, and will try to attend the Debian SIG on Friday.
