Indeed I do But do I have to use nautilus? It should work with gmc
to! (where does gmc get its mime types from:- its so much quicker)

GMC is basically unmaintainable code It's even been taken out of the mc
tree now plus I've hardly ever used it, so I really don't know :)
You can try finding stuff like this out on gnome-list, or
