Actually I first implemented and configured only for one computing node
NRCS-CMPH001 (16 cores). I also place the munge.key file in that node.
But still not able to run slurmd daemon in computing node.

Problem /appears /to be fixed now.
We noticed from other posts that message 1008 is an indication of
network congestion this is combination with the occasional slurmctld
socket timeout pushed us to implement the high throughput
recommendations

Some suggestions and questions...
Do you have Slurm running without accounting? If not, you might find
it easier to take it a step at a time, getting a simple cluster
running first, and then adding accounting.
Can you ping slurm? If not, are you sure that you are setting up
