So wondering whether Joyent team has a chance to finish this?
Tons of thanks in advance.

While it seems like you've already discovered the answer to your first
question, I thought I'd go through and answer this in a bit

We ran Sheepdog server in lx-branded zone and the execution went to "else"

How I can achieve so?
Thanks.

hi,
We'd like to know which controller (e.g., on-board or separate SATA/SAS
controller or HBA card) a disk device (HDD or SSD) is attached on a SmartOS
machine. How can we achieve this information?
Your information will be appreciated.

Hi,
We'd like to partition large-sized (e.g., 4TB or above) HDD disks into 2TB
partitions, and read from Oracle Solaris mannual that Solaris (on x86 paltform)
can't recognize the disk space beyond 2TB when using partition unless the disk
is used as a whole.
Wondering whether it is the case?

We'd like to run a COMSTAR based storage virtualization solution on SmartOS.
The problem is that COMSTAR seems available only in GZ. In my understanding, GZ

Hi,
SmartOS supports both M.2 SATA and M.2 PCIe drives. I am using a NUC Kit
(NUC6CAYH) and a Giga Z97 system with a M.2 SATA and a M.2 PCIe drive
respectively. They both work well. Although I am using the latest SmartOS
image, I don't think it necessary.
Cheers.

Unfortunately, the BIOS can't be rollback. I tried two
