Hi,
The ones I use all the time are:
WeatherPro / Tweetie / Flixster / Sky + / BA Flights / LogMeIn (bit
tricky on the small screen though depending on what you are doing) and
as a guitar player Chordmaster. Have many others that get used less
frequently and no doubt hundreds more useful
WiFinder, Remote, TVGuide.
Also the 1Password app (but you need this on OS X too, and they sync).

I think I spend more time using the traintimes National Rail
thing than anything else but it's only useful if you use lots of
different train services, obviously:-)
if you want a completely addictive game and waste a lot of time,
get Fieldrunners

Hello,
I have an iPhone 3G and I just sold it. The person who bought it wants
me to jailbreak the device before I send it, which is fine. He will
then unlock the phone later on using ultrasnow. For him to be able to
sync his music and everything else, I will just install the jailbroken

Hi Emrah
If he wants to use the iPhone without a sim card in it, he'd be better
off with an iPod touch. If he's going to use a non-O2 sim in it then
it needs to be unlocked not just jailbroken.

As I suspected - a mine of information. I
shall investigate all these in my spare

Out of interest, is there a good source of
iPhone app reviews on the web that people trust?
Thanks for all the suggestions everyone.

One of the things I find incredibly handy with AirSharing is that when
I'm going somewhere unfamiliar I look it up on an online map

my iPod. Voila, a handy map for when you're

stream radio all over the world. Sometimes listen to Dance Music from
New York. Gaydar Radio comes through very loud and clear; something
the BBC radio stations do not. I also agree about National Trains and
