Well - the title explains my problem! Trying to print a label and the Dymo
printer app just quits. Won’t print… Anything I can do?
Thanks
Andrew

Hi Andrew
have you checked the Dymbo website for updated software? Also try
right-clicking the Dymo application Open, instead of just double clicking it.

Hi. Having searched on Google, this seems to be a common fault and apparently
an earlier version of the driver works - and there was a link to download it.
Which I did. But when I try to open the drivers I get this message
OK - I opened drop box prefs and unchecked “save to dropbox”. THAT bit was easy

Virginia,
I wondered about all that too. I wrote to Andrew Lancaster, asking if he

I rang Dymo about my labelwriter 320 not working and they sent me an email with
a form to download. They said to send back the 320 and they'd send me a new 450
labelwriter - which they did. Worth a call to the Dymo help desk

Can you explain how a Dymo. Label writer works? It is not clear from their web
page. Do they connect to a computer? If not, how do you write out what you
want on a label? Is it the same address on the label each time? As I write
this I realise that using the label app on the computer means
They connect to your computer via a USB plug and you can download
appropriate software from Dymo web site if you do not have a CD with the
product. I use my Dymo a lot as my printer does not like printing
envelopes so I can print off individual labels as and when I need.

I rang the Dymo helpline to ask if they had new drivers that would work. They
emailed me a label so I could post my 320 to them post paid, and are sending me
a new printer - free!
I think that is a wonderful response to my problem!

I had a Dymo Labelwriter 310 until recently. I was having problems with
the Dymo v.7 software long before Lion and Dymo told me to download v.8 and
try it. Although the 310 was not officially supported Dymo v.8 worked
perfectly well with my 310. I had been using Lion with updated Dymo v.8
Hi. Another problem! I was trying to print a label to go with some pictures I
have to send off, using the Dymo label printer I have.
And it wouldn't work. So, I googled asking what the red light meant on my Dymo
printer when it wouldn't turn to green and print. I got a very helpful
explanation
Which model LabelWriter is it?
I have the LabelWriter 310. Unfortunately, Dymo have not updated its drivers
for Lion compliance.
Anybody not running Lion want a Dymo LabelWriter 310 with a spare roll of
address labels?

Having said all of that, when I connect the LabelWriter to my computer, its
light does go green.
Are you sure its plugged in (stupid question, I know!)?
