Nick, I've got a couple of Acer C20 Pico 'pocket' projectors running on Macs and they work really well but the room does need to be a little darkened (doesn't have to be pitch black…) They were under £200 from Amazon. Regards John John From:

Thanks John, that's very helpful not least because I had forgotten to look on Amazon and have found several other similar ones. So will do some in depth research but the portability, LED lights (which last 20K hours) and being relatively cheap has suddenly opened up new possibilities of sharing
