Plug into iTunes and in the sync options set it to manually manage music & videos. You can then drag and drop any music onto it. Dropbox won't work as it only deals with files, not music, and the music app would have access to Dropbox's files Sam MacAmbulance Ltd. Providing Affordable Mac/P

Sam, re Dropbox - I thought of it because on Sunday a friend emailed me a link to a file on his dropbox account which had a CD of Janacec piano music - which I was able to drag to iTunes, and from there burn it to a CD. I had imagined I could perhaps do something similar to an iPhone. But your
